Our tonics are made from three simple ingredients, fruit or root, organic apple cider vinegar, and water. No organic sugar added. All are extracted like the shrubs, over a period of weeks to bring you the most potent and balanced tonic. Of course you will want to dilute (with water preferably) to maximize uptake of key fruit components AND the all important ACV. All our tonics contain 62 – 67% ACV. Shrubs in comparison are more fruity and have 23 – 27% ACV. Preferred dilution rate is 2 TBSP to 8 oz of water. Tea, juice, seltzer or tonic water are great options as well. The tonics also make a tart dressing for salads and we have it on account that a simple meat marinade or veggie drizzle also work.
ACV in this manner is easier to consume, AND easier to make it a habit on a daily basis. Lastly, you can take it up to 3 times a day, separated by 8 hours to allow the ACV to be metabolized. That’s all you need. In this case, more is not better.
